The Pennsylvania Bar Institute
I presented this seminar on Small Estate Petitions twice upon the request of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.
The first presentation of this course occurred at the 11th Annual Estate Law Institute and the second presentation of this course occurred at the 6th Annual Estate and Elder Law Symposium (which was taped).
Online Instruction
As it was recorded and taped at my second presentation, it is now available for online instruction.
The item description of the course explains that: "[s]ection 3102 of the PEF Code allows for the settlement of a decedent's estate, when the decedent's assets do not exceed $25,000, with minimal court documents and minimal court supervision."
Its sister statute Section 3101 allows for the Payment of a decedent's assets, in certain situations, with no court documents and no court supervision.
Although both sections, at first blush, appear to have limited uses in few instances, Sections 3101 and 3102 are deceivingly laconic statutes that provide many options for the settlement of smaller estates.

I would also like to thank Cynthia for giving me a 5 Star Review of my course!
